Welcome to the 2017 racing season at RC3. We have lots of new things coming this year. so please come out and race with us. There will be an all new professional style layout going in this year by Joey "The Dirt Guy". The new layout should go in late March and we hope to be racing in April weather permitting. Below is the New rules and Races Schedule for the 2017 Race season.

Officers for 2017

President Jody Schrimsher

vice President Matt Winstead

Secretary Teddy Salyer

Treasurer Kevin Land/Jamie Blasingame

Track Coordinators Javier Cabellero, Jimmy Borden, Freddy Marsh, Daniel Myers, Brandon Reed.

2017 Membership will be $25 for Adults and $10 under 18. Each membership will include a $5 discount for first class entry and a Free T-Shirt. T-Shirts will be ordered at a later date.

Entry Fees---Entry Fees will be $15, $10, $5 for club races. $30 Cap on Individual/Family fee up to 5 classes. If over 5 classes, there will be a $5 per class fee to cover track fee.

Races will be held (2) times a month, both on Saturdays. 1ST and 3RD Saturday of the month.

Club race start times-- Day races will start at 11 am. Night races will start at 2:30 pm.

There will be (2) scheduled "Big races" a year. If any more are added, it will be a month with 5 weekends.

All "Club Races" will have 2 qualification rounds and a main. If for some reason we have low turnout, this will be evaulated at that time wiht a driver vote. Anything with 50 entries or more will automatically be 2 heats and a main. ******Big Races are excluded from this rule.*********

There will be (6) Saturday night races during the summer Months. These races will be known as the "Summer Series Track Championship" These races will acquire points and Track Champion will be awarded plaque at the Year End Banquet at the end of the race season. No Drop races.

Nitro Mains will be 13 minutes for club races. Nitro Mains will be run at the beginning of mains during night races for noise related issues. ******big Races are excluded from this rule*******

Ebuggy Mains (or any 1/8 scale class with high turnout) will be cut to 8 racers per heat. This will help with the safety of turn marshalls and should help with equal driving skill level. Race Director has the option to add more mains if turnout dictates. (ex: only 10 racers sign up. have 2 mains with bump spots). If turnout is good, lower mains will be run with bumps to main. Pictures will be made for lower podium winners. *****this rule only applies to mains. qualifications rounds can have normal number if necessary)*******

If a racer is going to be late to a race, they may still race, but will start in the last position of the lowest main or qualification round that has not started yet. All Entry Fees will still have to be paid in full. This will help some Saturday Night racers who work or have appts in the am, etc.

********Officers have the option to reavaluate all rules during the year. If change is necesary it will be for the best interest of the racers and members of RC3********
